The rollout and project start took place with the opening of the plant in Schwerin. In close cooperation with the headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, the inventory processes were reviewed and integrated. The scanners and label printers were provided for the project by seventhings. This meant that Nestlé did not have to worry about anything in order to digitize all relevant processes related to asset inventory.
The previously used data was imported together into the inventory manager of seventhings. The seventhings inventory manager therefore provides the home for all data related to inventory - from warranty documents to invoices, maintenance vouchers and much more. All of this can be clearly viewed in the platform. In the seventhings app, which is used for audit-proof scanning during inventory, the most important data can be viewed and edited, for example to take new photos or make comments on the condition of the inventory item.
For example, maintenance dates and deadlines can be easily and sustainably mapped in full via the inventory software and thanks to the reminder function.
