Having received the "Bayrischen Gründerpreis", a Bavarian start-up prize, in 2007, Vispiron GmbH has flourished from an engenering company to a technology company with core competence in mechatronics. With the aim of “climate-neutral energy and mobility”, they are an important player in the fields of Future Mobility, Future Energy and Digital Transformation. In addition to the company’s headquarters in Munich, there are three other project offices in Stuttgart, Ingolstadt and Wolfsburg. The successful group sees itself as a value-oriented company that is constantly growing and actively shaping an environmentally friendly future.
VISPIRON went to the seventhings Process Workshop in February 2018 with clear ideas of what they wanted. With the introduction of the seventhings software, the company wanted to obtain a clear overview of all managed assets, a quick initial recording, and time- and cost-saving follow-up inventories.
During the inventory in March 2018, all plant and office equipment, IT goods, technical machinery and equipment, including lease-purchase goods, were processed for the first time by several trained inventory teams and provided with a QR code label. After marking and scanning the assets, they completed the information with additional data and photos. For the automatic synchronization of the scanner to the seventhings system, VISPIRON used the internal W-LAN. In the last step, the accounting department only had to check the data in order to input it into DATEV.
Thanks to seventhings inventory manager, Vispiron has now created a better, more centralized overview of its inventory, saving valuable time and effort.
