How does a successful asset inventory actually work? And what is RFID all about? We’ve asked your most common questions and explain why our customers suddenly enjoyed the inventory from one day to the next.
In short, every company is obliged to carry out an inventory. Legislation requires the company to be able to prove whether the acquired assets are still in the company and, if so, where they are located. The aim of inventory is to identify inventories and assets on a specific reporting date. Asset inventory focuses on the entire fixed assets of the company, e. g. office furniture, computers or machines. An inventory is not only important for the government - it also benefits your company. For example, you can correct deficits, gain a better overview of your inventory and avoid wasting resources within the company.
The annual inventory is coming up and the employees are looking forward to the upcoming day. This doesn't sound familiar? It does to us! According to our customers, you will enjoy the annual inventory for the first time - thanks to the digital inventory with scanner & app.
Manual inventory is often time-consuming and requires a lot of staff. Inventory lists have to be drawn up and tediously ticked off step by step. Don't even get us started on inputting data manually into your accounting system! This effort can be easily eliminated with a digital inventory. In an initial inventory process all inventories are given unique numbers, i. e. labels. Afterwards, the assets only need to be recorded in the system via scanner and app. Annoying searches for individual attachments with the help of a printed Excel list are history. Any errors are automatically detected and displayed by the software, so that they can be easily rectified.

With the help of RFID labels, you can also save time and costs due to a very fast reading process, since there is no need for visual contact to the inventory item.
